3. Website Content Is for General Information

The content on this website is provided for general informational purposes only. It should not be considered a final diagnosis, repair recommendation, building-code determination, or guaranteed solution for your specific plumbing issue.

Plumbing problems often require an in-person inspection by a qualified professional. Any information provided on this website, by phone, by email, or through online forms is preliminary unless confirmed in writing after an inspection or formal evaluation.

4. Service Requests and Appointments

When you submit a form, call our office, or request an appointment, you agree to provide accurate and complete information.

Submitting a form or requesting an appointment does not guarantee that an appointment has been scheduled. An appointment is not confirmed until Stuart’s Plumbing communicates confirmation by phone, text, email, or another direct method.

Appointment availability may vary based on technician schedules, service location, weather, emergency calls, parts availability, permitting requirements, and other operational factors.

We will make reasonable efforts to arrive within the scheduled service window, but arrival times are estimates and are not guaranteed.

Cancellations and Missed Appointments:

We allocate dedicated time and resources for your scheduled service. We kindly request at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice, or instances where our technician arrives and cannot access the property, may be subject to a standard dispatch or cancellation fee.

5. Emergency Services

If Stuart’s Plumbing offers emergency or after-hours service, availability may vary based on technician availability, service area, call volume, weather conditions, and the nature of the plumbing issue.

If you are experiencing an emergency that may involve immediate danger, flooding, sewage exposure, gas, electrical hazards, structural risk, or personal safety concerns, you should take appropriate safety precautions and contact emergency services when necessary.

Stuart’s Plumbing is not responsible for damages that occur before our arrival or as a result of delays caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control.

6. Estimates, Quotes, and Pricing

Any estimate, quote, or price range provided before an in-person inspection is preliminary and based on the information available at the time.

Final pricing may depend on factors such as:

  • The condition of pipes, fixtures, drains, or equipment
  • Accessibility of the plumbing issue
  • Hidden damage or concealed conditions
  • Code requirements
  • Parts, materials, and equipment needed
  • Labor required
  • Permitting requirements
  • Changes requested by the customer
  • Conditions discovered after work begins

When possible, Stuart’s Plumbing will communicate the scope of work and price before beginning approved work. If additional work is needed, we will make reasonable efforts to explain the issue and obtain approval before proceeding.

Unless otherwise stated in writing, estimates may expire after 30 days.

7. Customer Approval

By approving a service, repair, estimate, invoice, or work order, you authorize Stuart’s Plumbing to perform the agreed-upon work.

Approval may be given in writing, electronically, by signed agreement, by text message, by email, through a digital service platform, or verbally when appropriate.

The customer is responsible for reviewing the scope of work, pricing, limitations, exclusions, and any assumptions before approving the work.

8. Change Orders and Additional Work

Sometimes additional work is discovered after a project begins. This may occur because of hidden damage, inaccessible areas, outdated plumbing, code issues, corrosion, improper prior repairs, slab conditions, drain line conditions, or other unforeseen circumstances.

Any additional work outside the original approved scope may require a revised estimate, change order, or additional approval.

Stuart’s Plumbing is not obligated to perform work outside the approved scope unless both parties agree to the additional work and pricing.

9. Customer Responsibilities

To help us provide safe and efficient service, customers are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate contact and service-location information
  • Ensuring an adult or authorized representative is available when needed
  • Providing safe access to the work area
  • Clearing personal belongings from the work area when possible
  • Securing pets and children away from the work area
  • Notifying us of known hazards, leaks, electrical issues, mold, asbestos, pests, or unsafe conditions
  • Providing access to water shutoffs, cleanouts, fixtures, water heaters, crawlspaces, attics, or other necessary areas
  • Obtaining any required homeowner, landlord, HOA, or property manager approvals when applicable

Stuart’s Plumbing may decline, pause, or reschedule work if the work area is unsafe, inaccessible, or unsuitable for service.

10. Permits, Codes, and Inspections

Some plumbing work may require permits, inspections, or compliance with applicable building codes.

When permits are required and Stuart’s Plumbing is responsible for obtaining them as part of the approved scope of work, we will make reasonable efforts to follow applicable requirements. Permit fees, inspection fees, code upgrades, or additional work required by an authority having jurisdiction may result in additional costs unless already included in the approved scope.

Customers are responsible for any approvals required by landlords, property owners, HOAs, condo associations, property managers, or other third parties unless otherwise agreed in writing.

11. Payment Terms

Payment is due according to the terms listed on the approved estimate, invoice, work order, financing agreement, or written agreement.

Unless otherwise stated in writing, payment may be due upon completion of the service.

Accepted payment methods may include credit card, debit card, check, financing, or other approved payment methods. Available payment methods may change at any time.

Past-due balances may be subject to reasonable collection efforts, late fees, service charges, returned-payment fees, attorney’s fees, court costs, or other costs allowed by law and stated in the applicable invoice or agreement.

Stuart’s Plumbing reserves the right to withhold additional service, warranties, scheduling, or project continuation for accounts with unpaid balances, subject to applicable law.

Deposits and Special Orders:

For larger projects, installations, or services requiring specialized or custom-ordered parts, Stuart’s Plumbing may require a deposit before work commences or materials are ordered. Deposits for custom or special-order parts are non-refundable once the order has been placed.

12. Financing

If financing options are offered, financing is subject to approval by the applicable third-party financing provider.

Stuart’s Plumbing does not control financing approval, interest rates, repayment terms, credit decisions, fees, or account servicing by third-party financing companies.

Customers are responsible for reviewing and understanding all financing terms before accepting a financing offer.

13. Promotions, Coupons, and Special Offers

From time to time, Stuart’s Plumbing may offer promotions, coupons, discounts, or special offers.

Unless otherwise stated:

  • Offers cannot be combined with other discounts
  • Offers have no cash value
  • Offers may apply only to specific services
  • Offers may be limited by date, location, availability, or scope of work
  • Offers must be presented or mentioned before work is approved
  • Stuart’s Plumbing may modify or discontinue offers at any time

Promotional pricing does not apply retroactively to prior purchases or completed services.

  • Offer Eligibility: Valid for single-family residential homes only. This offer does not apply to rental, landlord-tenant, or commercial properties. Offers are available for a limited time during normal business hours and cannot be combined with other discounts. Promotional offer subject to change.

  • Scope of Service Included in Promotional: Includes clearing of the main sewer line (up to 75 feet) and secondary lines (up to 30 feet), with a maximum of two passes through the line. Drains must be safely accessible.

  • Limitations to Promotional Service: Please note that not all lines can be successfully cleared. To protect the integrity of your home’s plumbing, Stuart’s Plumbing reserves the right to decline service on drains exhibiting severe, recurring issues or visible structural failures.

Diagnostic Base Rate ($55.00)

  • Covers up to 15 minutes of visual exploration by our technicians. All conditions must be visible. This base rate does not cover the use of specialized tools or invasive access (e.g., opening walls, removing flooring, or accessing under slabs).

14. Warranties

Warranty terms may vary depending on the type of service, parts, materials, manufacturer warranties, and the approved scope of work.

Any warranty provided by Stuart’s Plumbing will be described on the applicable invoice, estimate, work order, or written agreement.

Unless otherwise stated in writing, warranties may not cover:

  • Pre-existing conditions
  • Customer-supplied parts or materials
  • Misuse, neglect, abuse, or improper maintenance
  • Damage caused by third parties
  • Damage caused by other contractors
  • Improper prior repairs
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Corrosion, deterioration, root intrusion, ground movement, or shifting
  • Drain stoppages caused by foreign objects, grease, wipes, roots, collapsed lines, or misuse
  • Water pressure issues outside our control
  • Manufacturer defects covered by a manufacturer warranty
  • Damage from storms, flooding, freezing, fire, or other events outside our control

Warranty claims must be reported promptly. Stuart’s Plumbing must be given a reasonable opportunity to inspect and address the issue before another contractor performs related work. Using another contractor may void or limit any applicable warranty.

Peace-of-Mind Drain Cleaning Guarantee

Stuart’s Plumbing provides a 90 day Peace-of-Mind Guarantee on Residential Drain Cleaning to ensure that you will be completely satisfied with our work. This guarantee is included in all of our Drain Cleaning services and does not cost you anything! We also have longer guarantees available that will cover your drains for up to 1 year from the service date.

Warranty does not cover commercial drains, drain abuse, misuse of non-biodegradable products, foreign objects in the drain, hair in drains, or damaged/compromised sewage systems.

15. Drain Cleaning and Sewer Line Limitations

Drain and sewer issues may involve hidden or unknown conditions, including root intrusion, pipe collapse, bellies, offsets, corrosion, grease buildup, foreign objects, cast iron deterioration, or improper installation.

Drain cleaning, hydro jetting, pipe milling, video inspection, and related services are intended to address the condition identified at the time of service. They do not guarantee that future stoppages will not occur.

If a line is damaged, deteriorated, improperly pitched, collapsed, or affected by root intrusion, additional repairs or replacement may be recommended.

16. Water Damage, Mold, Property Conditions, and Hazardous Materials

Plumbing leaks can cause water damage, mold, structural issues, and related property damage.

Stuart’s Plumbing is not responsible for pre-existing damage, hidden damage, mold, mildew, rot, structural issues, or damage that occurred before our arrival.

Unless specifically included in the approved scope of work, Stuart’s Plumbing does not provide mold remediation, restoration, drywall repair, flooring repair, cabinetry repair, painting, or reconstruction services.

Customers are responsible for contacting the appropriate restoration, remediation, insurance, or repair professionals when needed.

Hazardous Materials:

Stuart’s Plumbing technicians are not licensed or equipped to handle, test for, or abate hazardous materials, including but not limited to asbestos, lead paint, or severe biohazards. If such materials are discovered during the course of our work, our technicians will immediately cease work in the affected area. It is the customer’s responsibility to hire a qualified professional to abate the hazard at their own expense before plumbing services can resume.

17. Access, Excavation, and Restoration

Some plumbing repairs may require access through walls, ceilings, floors, cabinets, tile, landscaping, driveways, slabs, or other property features.

Unless specifically included in the approved written scope, Stuart’s Plumbing is not responsible for restoring drywall, paint, tile, flooring, landscaping, concrete, cabinets, countertops, or other finishes after plumbing access, excavation, or repair work.

We will make reasonable efforts to minimize disruption, but plumbing repairs may require opening, cutting, digging, or removing materials to access the plumbing system.

18. Photos, Videos, and Documentation

Stuart’s Plumbing may take photos or videos of plumbing conditions, equipment, parts, work areas, or completed work for documentation, training, quality control, warranty, insurance, or customer communication purposes.

We will not intentionally publish images that clearly identify private customer information, personal details, or sensitive areas without appropriate permission.
